What is Linux?


There seems to be a lot of confusion about what Linux is. I hope this helps you understand a bit better. This is not a technical overview. It's more of a "What is an operating system". If you know what Linux is this video is NOT for you and was not made to teach you anything.

WINE is not an emulation, WINE literally stands for "Wine Is Not an Emulator". They also make games that are also Linux compatible. Examples being Quake (every version, including the latest Enemy Territory), EVE on-line, etc. Also there are game that are exclusively for Linux only. KDE FTW! Great video, I plan to use your video for people who do not understand Linux. Great video. Thumbs up.
